General conditions for ordering PCR tests and travel certificates
These general terms and conditions apply when you as an individual (consumer) or company order a PCR test regarding Covid -19 and the issuance of a travel certificate (medical certificate) based on the result of such a PCR test (the "Service") by Carelab Sverige AB Org no: 559279- 3458 ("Carelab" / "us" / "we" / "our").
A more detailed description of the Service and frequently asked questions and answers can be found on our website https://www.carelab.se/. In short, however, the Service means that you perform a PCR test at one of our or our partners' clinics. An analysis of your test is then performed. If the analysis shows a negative result (ie that according to the analysis you do not have an ongoing infection with covid -19), we issue a medical certificate (travel certificate) that proves this. The medical certificate (travel certificate) is sent electronically in the manner specified on our website. If the analysis shows a positive result, you will be notified of this. We then do not issue a medical certificate (travel certificate). For the sake of clarity, the Service would therefore include either that a medical certificate (travel certificate) is drawn up or that you receive a positive result from the analysis of your test.
In connection with you ordering the Service, you agree that these general terms and conditions are applied as part of the agreement between you / your company and us.
Ordering the Service
Ordering the Service is made on our website https://www.carelab.se/ by phone, via a partner or directly on site at our or our partners' receptions. You can always contact our support on 08-122 041 44 or info [at] carelab.se if you have any questions.
To be able to order the Service, you must be 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have received consent to your order from the guardian.
Agreement on the purchase of the Service
Agreement on purchase is made when we have confirmed the order by sending an order confirmation to the email you specified. We reserve the right to change or cancel your order if we do not believe we can fulfill the service adequately. We will then notify you as soon as we can. Through confirmations, these general terms and conditions become part of the agreement.
Processing of personal data
The Service includes that we process personal data about the individuals to whom the Service refers. The personal information includes name, contact information, social security number, passport number and personal information regarding health (including whether the analysis of tests gives a positive result or not). For Carelab, the personal integrity of customers and patients is of central importance. The processing of customers 'and patients' personal data therefore always takes place in accordance with applicable laws and regulations on the processing of personal data. This also includes that test results must be submitted in a manner permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

Prices and payment
All prices are stated in Swedish kronor. In connection with ordering, you can choose between payment by card or swish at our reception.
Receipt is then sent to the email you provided in connection with the order. For the sake of clarity, the price is the same regardless of whether a travel certificate is issued (after a negative analysis result), a travel certificate is not issued (after a positive analysis result) or if analysis cannot be performed.
Carelab makes no guarantees regarding the waiting time before you receive your test result.
Normal delivery times from the time you receive an order confirmation can be found on our website www.carelab.se. Carelab normally handles your order within 24 hours of receiving an order confirmation during weekends. Orders during the holiday are handled almost the following weekday. However, the normal delivery times do not constitute a guarantee and it is therefore important that you make an order well in advance with a margin for your trip and consideration of what the local regulations at your travel destination at any time require.
Own responsibility regarding travel certificates and the Service
The content of our Service - including what our issued travel certificate contains at any given time and how it is designed - is described on our website www.carelab.se . However, Carelab takes no responsibility for the content of our travel certificate and its design being accepted at your travel destination.
As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the travel certificate we issue is valid and works for entry into the country and destination you are traveling to. We base the certificates on the information you provide when booking
You as a customer are also responsible for ensuring that a self-test is performed correctly. Carelab takes no responsibility for whether self-testing is performed incorrectly and therefore, for example, cannot form the basis for an analysis or correct analysis.
Carelab is not responsible for any costs, for example as a result of missed trips, which may arise as a result of a Positive covid-19 test and not an assessable test result.
Note also that the test results can be no assessment Bart and new tests are recommended. We will not be able to issue a certificate
Right of withdrawal when purchasing via the internet
When buying via the internet, you as a consumer always have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Distance and Home Sales Act. The withdrawal period (14 days) begins to apply the day after the agreement is entered into (ie the day after our order confirmation). In the event that the withdrawal period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org . You can also use the template for the withdrawal form that the Swedish Consumer Agency provides, see https://publikationer.konsumentverket.se/kontrakt-och-mallar/angerblankett which you can send by e-mail, fax or letter to us.
The right of withdrawal when fully or partly use all the services that you have ordered, for example, by taking one of our samples, or send it to the laboratory. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payment made to you without deduction. We will refund the money to your bank account within 90 days of ordering, provided that you have notified us of your bank account.
Liability and limitation of liability
Carelab is responsible for ensuring that the Service is performed professionally and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Carelab is not responsible for deficiencies in the Service that are attributable to you as a customer (eg that the travel certificate as described at any time on our website does not meet the requirements of your travel destination; or that tests have been taken too late or too early according to the requirements of your travel destination; or that the test is performed incorrectly; or that the Service is not performed or is not performed on time due to technical conditions in your equipment or connecting network).
Carelab is not responsible for defects in the Service that are caused by errors in third party software or networks if Carelab professionally tried to correct or circumvent the error, or deficiencies in the Service due to. virus attacks or the like despite Carelab having taken protective measures in a professional manner. Carealab is also not responsible for delayed service due to shortcomings in public communications (eg delayed postage) or due to circumstances that constitute force majeure. PCR tests regarding Covid-19 do not give 100% correct results and it happens that a PCR test gives a false negative or positive result. Carelab is not responsible for the fact that the test result as a result of such a margin of error gives an incorrect result.
Deficiencies in the Service shall primarily be remedied by remedying errors, if this can be done without unreasonable cost or inconvenience to Carelab. Carelab has the right to remedy the error at its own expense, provided that this can be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you as a customer.
If remediation cannot take place, you as a customer are entitled to a reasonable price reduction and, with the following limitations, compensation for any proven, direct damage. Carelab is responsible for deficiencies in the Service caused by Caerlab's negligence. Carelab's liability is in all circumstances limited to a liability for proven, direct damage and to a maximum amount corresponding to the price of the Service for the individual to whom the Service relates. Carelab is not liable for consequential damages, non-profit, non-expected savings and / or other indirect damages. This includes that Carelab is not liable for damage or costs due to deficiencies in the Service which means that you can not travel to or be admitted to your travel destination.
Carelab is not liable for damages as a result of strikes, fires, the exercise of authority, labor disputes, accidents, errors or delays in subcontracting, downtime in public communication systems or other circumstances beyond Carelab's control and which Carelab is not reasonably expected to expect and whose consequences Carelab could not reasonably avoid or overcome.
Especially regarding corporate customers
For you as a corporate customer, the provisions on the right of withdrawal above do not apply.
Furthermore, as a corporate customer, you are responsible for the basis for processing personal data that you provide Carelab with.
Applicable law and dispute
For the Agreement, Swedish law shall apply. Disputes arising from the Agreement shall be decided by a general court in Sweden.
